  Ich fotografiere individuelle Menschen, dabei ist mir der Ausdruck des Gesichts am wichtigsten. Für mich liegt die Energie eines Bildes in der Spontanität seiner Entstehung.
  
  Mich interessieren vielschichtige Szenen, die Geschichten erzählen. Plakative Bilder, die mit einem Blick zu erfassen sind und Standardposings sind für mich nicht von Bedeutung. Fotostudios meide ich, da mir deren Ausdruck zu steril und künstlich ist, ich möchte das echte Leben als Kulisse, Hotelzimmer, Homeshooting, die Natur, Städte.
  
  Mein Stil lässt sich mit plain und rough beschreiben, ich fotografiere schnörkellos und einfach, was Beleuchtung oder Szenenaufbau angeht, dabei orientiere ich mich z.B. an Bühnenszenarien im Theater.
  
  Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Modell läuft bei mir immer auf Augenhöhe, wertschätzender Umgang, ein freundlicher Ton, Offenheit und Ehrlichkeit sind für mich Grundvoraussetzung.
  
  Mir ist es wichtig, beim Fotografieren ganz frei auszuprobieren, ohne vorher immer schon wissen zu müssen, was dabei am Schluss für ein Bild herauskommt. Gerne werfe ich die Ideen von Dir und mir zusammen, schüttele das alles einmal gut durch und freue mich mit Dir über das erstaunliche Ergebnis dieses Ideenmix. Thats it!

  I photograph individual people, and the expression of the face is most important to me. For me, the energy of a picture lies in the spontaneity of its creation.
  
  I am interested in multi-layered scenes that tell stories. Striking images that can be captured at a glance and standard poses are not important to me. I avoid photo studios because I find their expression too sterile and artificial; I want real life as a backdrop, hotel rooms, home shoots, nature, cities.
  
  My style can be described as plain and rough, I shoot straightforward and simple when it comes to lighting or scene composition, taking my cue from stage scenarios in the theater, for example.
  
  The cooperation with the model is always at eye level, appreciative interaction, a friendly tone, openness and honesty are basic requirements for me.
  
  It is important to me to try things out freely when taking photos, without always having to know in advance what the final image will look like. I like to throw the ideas of you and me together, shake it all up and enjoy the amazing result of this mix of ideas with you. That's it!
