  Maximilian van Vuigt: Bekannter Portrait-, Fashion- und Beautyfotograf mit einem klar definiertem fotografischem Stil plus einer guten Portion Experimentierfreude.
  
  Seine freien, künstlerischen Arbeiten sind weltweit in Zeitschriften, Plattformen und Kalendern erschienen. In seinen Social Media Kanälen veröffentlicht er regelmäßig Tipps und Anregungen rund um die „Peoplefotografie“.
  
  Mit dem Bild „Jolie“ zählte er 2023 zu den Top 50 der Ausstellung des Swiss Photo Clubs in Frankfurt. 2024 war er Finalist beim Cool Fashion Contest auf Viewbug mit dem Bild „Denisa with Flower“ und gewann im selben Jahr die internationale Women in All White Photo Challenge für sein Werk „Dishita I“.
  
  Es ist sowohl sein Stil als auch sein Spirit, die ihn kennzeichnen und ihn zu einer Ausnahmeerscheinung unserer Zeit machen. Seine Arbeiten wurden unter anderem in Mirrow Magazine, Viewbug und FOTOHITS veröffentlicht.
  
  Maximilian van Vuigt, Jahrgang 1970, wollte ursprünglich „Tierforscher oder Fluglotse“ (van Vuigt über van Vuigt) werden. Mit 12 bekommt er seine erste Fotokamera geschenkt und entdeckt sein Interesse und spätere Begeisterung für die Fotografie. Die erste Kamera war eine WERRA; die erste Spiegelreflexkamera aus dem Hause Zenith folgte dann ein paar Jahre danach. Aus diesen Eindrücken und fotografischen Erfahrungen der analogen Fotografie entspringt auch seine Begeisterung für Fotokameras mit „richtigem Metallgehäuse“ und seine Nähe zur „echten Fotografie“.
  
  Maximilian van Vuigt über dass, was er als „echte Fotografie“ bezeichnet: „Mein Ansatz ist, das eigentliche Foto bereits im Grunde so aufzunehmen, dass die Nachbearbeitung möglichst gering ausfallen kann. Aufnahmen, an denen der Fotograf im Nachgang Stunden braucht, um die Bildaussage oder Bildwirkung zu erzielen, halte ich für nicht wirklich gelungen. Meine häufigste Form der Nachbearbeitung ist der Schnitt; im Shooting selbst lasse ich eher an den Bildrändern mehr Raum, als mich im Nachgang dann über fehlenden Bildteile zu ärgern.“
  
  In der Ära der Analogfotografie war er ein großer Fan der Kameras aus dem Hause Praktika, Minolta und Mamiya. In seinen aktuellen Shootingprojekten setzt van Vuigt auf Kameraausrüstungen von Sony und Fujifilm.
  
  Van Vuigt studierte und promovierte in BWL und bildet sich autodidaktisch in der Fotografie - mit den Schwerpunkten Portraitfotografie und Modefotografie - weiter. Nach Zusammenarbeiten mit Models und Sportlern auf der ganzen Welt konzentriert sich Maximilian van Vuigt seit einigen Jahren auf die Portraitfotografie, Beautyfotografie und Fashionfotografie.

  Je nach Projekt, Konzept und Thema der Arbeit kann ein TfP-Shooting für Model und Fotograf der richtige Ansatz sein. Diese Bilder werden von mir nicht-gewerblich weiterverwendet und sind dann für mein Portfolio. Das Model bekommt hier Aufnahmen für die eigene gewerbliche Verwendung.

  Für die gewerbliche Nutzung oder für freie Arbeiten gehört die Vergütung des Models zu einem fairen Vertrag. Einen Vertrag mit der Übertragung der Bildrechte erwarte ich hier. Das Model bekommt ein 5 Bilder für die eigene Sedcard.

  His free, artistic works have appeared in magazines, platforms and calendars worldwide. On his social media channels, he regularly publishes tips and suggestions on all aspects of people photography.
  
  His photographic work has received multiple honors:
  In 2023, his image “Jolie” was selected among the Top 50 at the Swiss Photo Club Exhibition in Frankfurt.   Maximilian van Vuigt, born in 1970, originally wanted to become an animal researcher or air traffic controller (van Vuigt on van Vuigt). At the age of 12, he was given his first camera and discovered his interest and later enthusiasm for photography. The first camera was a WERRA; the first Zenith SLR followed a few years later. These impressions and photographic experiences of analogue photography also gave rise to his enthusiasm for cameras with real metal housings and his closeness to real photography.
  
  Maximilian van Vuigt on what he calls real photography: My approach is to basically take the actual photo in such a way that post-processing can be kept to a minimum. Shots on which the photographer needs hours of post-processing to achieve the image statement or image effect are not really successful in my opinion. My most common form of post-processing is editing; in the shoot itself, I'd rather leave more room at the edges of the image than then get angry about missing parts of the image afterwards.
  
  In the era of analogue photography, he was a big fan of cameras from Praktika, Minolta and Mamiya. In his current shooting projects, van Vuigt relies on camera equipment from Sony and Fujifilm.
  
  Van Vuigt studied and earned a doctorate in business administration and continues his self-taught education in photography - with a focus on portrait photography and fashion photography. After working with models and athletes all over the world, Maximilian van Vuigt has been concentrating on portrait photography, beauty photography and fashion photography for several years.
