Male and Female Beauty -both eminently sublime and desirable- bewitch me equally.

Male Beauty, in my opinion, deserves wider and more natural recognition in our society. More like the way it was in the great Greek and Roman civilizations of the Antiquity, where not only Female Beauty was revered, admired and celebrated.

When the Young Man - Unique in his Time and in History - is, at the top of his Seduction, an incredible Object of Beauty, Object of Dream, Object of Desire, and, most of all, a beautifull living Work of Art by himself.

Before age destroys that Beauty. Gradually, then totally. And forever. As if that Beauty had never existed, short or long time ago, on the surface of the Earth, and had never mesmerized its lucky contemporaries.

The beauty of some of our contemporary Apollo's deserves to -also- be saved from oblivion. From eternal loss.

Which is the goal of my Worldwide Male Beauty Celebration photo project (www.mickdavidov.com).

Each photographer has his own photographic style, his own types of models that move him, and his own types of locations he chooses as shrines for his models, and so creates his own photographic world, that also becomes his artist's signature.

I shoot with my models: mainly timeless dressed portraits, OR nude torso/jeans photos, OR Aesthetic Implied Nudes (they look as Nudes, but the model in reality is not nude at all), OR Aesthetic Nudes (back OR frontal), OR Abstract Nudes (model not recognizable).

NO obligation at all, the choices of the model are fully accepted and respected.

The shoots are either: mainly outdoors in nice natural locations with superb natural light, OR in nice existing timeless interiors, OR in a photo studio.

My photo project is personal work/studies, on own funds and own holiday time, and not a commercial enterprise to make money (I earn my living as Head of a Publications Department).

I view my photos as a testimony – hopefully still to be seen in next centuries – of handsome young men who really did exist as photographed, in real places, without faking, and no Photoshop tricks…

I work in timeless and graphic B/W for my project (using traditional mechanical pro analog medium format film camera), as well as in color (with DSLR) mainly for the books of my models.

My main artistic ultimate goals with this project are: to participate in photo art exhibitions and photo contests; to have photo's or portfolios published in Art or photo magazines; to publish -if possible- one or several quality books on Male Beauty that gather the best photos (portraits, nude torso photos and nude photos) of my nicest models, and books devoted each to the specific beauty of one exceptionally beautiful model. As well as, in the meantime, if it is the model's wish -for some pictures, or for all of them - to publish the best photos of my models online on my Male Beauty website.

NB: 1/ Being very concerned with the privacy, happiness and wellbeing of my models, I offer in my Model Release, the possibility, for very discrete or very shy models, the possibility to restrict the publication of their frontal nudes, only to book form, should a book ever be published with my best photos of my most beautiful models; so those photos can be totally excluded from any Internet diffusion, if so wished by the model.

2/ I always answer the emails I receive from models, be they just about an info request, or a model application (whatever my answer is, yes or no). By simple politness, but mainly by respect of the human being and his personal and artistic dreams that make him become a model. I expect the same from the models I contact.
We are all of a same complementary family where we neeed each other to fulfill our own photographic dreams. So let us behave nicely and professionnally. As respectful and caring human beings.
