• gunter nowak was born in 1982 in graz / styria / austria
  
  
  his interest in photography awakened in 2006 after visiting an exhibition of Sante D'Orazio. Not to long after he bought his first DSLR and began educating himself out of books and by learning by doing. As a dancer he has a intense connection to movement and the esthetics of a body, which brought him into art photography.
  
  
  in his work he is inspired by his paragons, like Sante D'Orazio, Andreas H. Bitesnich as well as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa.
  
  
  for his photography he makes an effort to work out the character of his motive, even if this is against common opinions.
  
  
  Basically he has one credo in his work:
  
  A picture is catching one moment like it will never come again.
