The burden had gone, she was floating in a weightless state of both body and mind. She had made it through, she had weathered the storm, this was her ride on the lucky dragon. Right now, everything was glistening in silver, she felt relieved and euphoric. She was oblivious to the dark streaks that were already creeping upwards from the abyss. She had changed sides, now she could be part of the light, even if it lasted only for a moment. And so, she stayed above and did not take notice of the slowly rising thunderclouds and the first omens of the sharp pain that would return all too soon. Nothing of it mattered, now was her moment of zero gravity.
