This shoot was the second time I had Denisa in front of my camera. Colin, a good friend of mine and a super good photographer had organized our first shoot. She is the one sitting on a cube/a and moving as a ballet dancer, just check out my gallery. Anyway, I love emotion and this second shoot was set to make full body portraits on a chair and on the ground (including implied nudes - stay tuned), I thought it would be cool to shoot some head shot. And here it is!
Denisa is a pro model. She has work with great and famous photographer among them Andreas Bitesnich. She has flown today to Asia and will be one year away somewhere in Asia and the in the USA. A few more words about what I do.
I play with light. Here my inspiration was Peter Coulson, a great BW sexy fashion photographer - at least this is how I see him - based in Australia. This portrait is not really coulson-uish but the rest of the pictures I will upload soon are strongly influenced by his style. But, I do not retouch. I not do any skinsmoothing or whatever of the kind. Basically what I do is darkroom work.
Why do I like this picture?
I like the chair and the arm. It makes a foreground whith a strong contrats. Then teh eye goes to the face. There is something sensual and very quiet at the same time. The skin is not perfect which makes her real or reachable. And then your eye goes to her chest and you discover her sexy bra.
