When The Hobbit came out, a wonderful photographer approached me with the idea for a Galadriel photo session. So how could I resist being part of something so iconic. He also had the perfect Galadriel ready to work with us. And I contacted a makeup artist I worked with before to join us. She was so enthusiastic that she drove a few hours just to be part of this.
We used my Game of Thrones inspired wedding dress with the hand embroidery and the other provided props such as diadems and some Lord of the Rings jewellry.
And for the first time I worked with a photographer who loves photo manipulation. So despite being in a studio, Galadriel is visiting many areas of Middle Earth. ;)

Als Der Hobbit gerade neu erschienen ist, hat mich ein wundervoller Fotograf mit der Idee zu einer Galadriel-Fotosession angesprochen. Bei so einem ikonischen Thema konnte ich natürlich nicht nein sagen. Er hatte auch schon die perfekte Galadriel bereit mit uns zu arbeiten. Und ich habe eine Makeup-Artistin mit der ich zuvor schon gearbeitet ahbe eingeladen. Sie war so enthusiastisch, dass sie mehere Stunden Autofahrt auf sich genommen hat um uns zu helfen.
Wir haben mein von Game of Thrones inspiriertes handbesticktes Hochzeitskleid verwendet. Die anderen haben Accessoires wie Diademe und Herr der Ringe Schmuck zur Verfügung gestellt.
Und zum ersten Mal habe ich mit einem Fotografen zusammen gearbeitet, der Fotomanipulation liebt. Also besucht unsere Galadriel viele Orte in Mittelerde, obwohl wir nur im Fotostudio waren. ;)
