Having taken so my pictures of beautiful young women in the past few years I decided it was time to try and take pictures of a beautiful elderly lady instead. Helga is a well traveled and open minded woman who lives in a little house in the countryside of Brandenburg. She surprised me with her profound knowledge about extracting dies from plants and dying wool for knitting. We spent most of the late afternoon shooting, smoking and talking. There is more to come.
