Location: Jardin Villemin, Paris, France (2016). After making the appointment with blogger Sonia there was one day open so I decided to post a casting call. It yielded no less than 20 applications, most of them by highly experienced models. Some of them even offered to postpone their already booked international / intercontinental flights. The sheer quality of the models forced me to schedule the evening of arrival and the morning of departure for photo shoots. Cat was the last of the four freelance models who posed for me in Paris. Armed with my ultra warm cardigan, she displayed incredible stamina (500 photos) and a fantastic array of expressions. Cat could be a tigress at one moment and the girl next door a few seconds later. Our running gag during her photo shoot was "Don't mess with Cat". Be assured, dear viewers, I never mess with any model :). Professional behavior based on respect is quintessential during every photo shoot. If a model returns home with a smile on her face, the mission is accomplished. Great portraits are a bonus. Cat and I had a real connection. Lots of laughter as well. Great!
