Location: Bray Beach, Ireland, 2013. Abeer (meaning "the aroma of the flowers") is a professional model based in Dublin. Abeer is an expert at posing and subtle expression. According to my mentor in photography, the title of this portrait could be "This is my first date with you but don't expect me to go to your place afterwards". Abeer has 20/20 vision and the glasses are minus twelve. In other words, the model had to rely on her imagination. It seems to defy all logic but often the portraits of models in glasses way beyond their own prescription come out the best. There is a subtle tension in the air that differs from the first part of the shoot when models pose in glasses near their own prescription.
