The great Sohaila Lindheim was among the many applications after a casting call for the Dublin area in Ireland, 2013. Having seen her impressive portfolio and several of her video clips before, I was delighted. Sohaila had "seen everything, been everywhere" and the quality of her posing was incredible. It was a fantastic experience to work with Sohaila and she brought my project to an unprecedented level. Each new pose was an authoritative statement and the speed and adaptation was amazing. Sohaila was fed up with the dull retro frames in the optician's shops so she requested that I'd bring "big and chunky glasses, the chunkier the better". Here she is posing in contemporary glasses in the style of the mid 1970's when lenses were the size of shop windows. The Rx is minus eight, twice the model's own prescription.
