Thank you for sharing original data with us! You are right it seems to be no articial rain but nevertheless the streak-like structure of the drops are a bit disturbing. It's just my personal opinion you do not have to give anything to that. Follow your own style. Anyway it is a good picture.

Sorry to disappoint you, the rain (well it is a shower in a studio) is not artificial... Check a screenshot from my Lightroom with the open raw (dng) file...

In principle I like this picture. Good illumination, beautiful model, and a nice makeup. The only thing I don't like are the articial rain drops in the front because they look non-realistic. The water drops in the brackground are more spherical due to a short exposure time but the in-motion unsharpness of the drops in front has wrong parameter settings.
